Hier soir, l’escale quotidienne d’idAction Mobile aux Projets Autochtones du Québec s’est transformée en séance de cinéma. La projection devait avoir lieu dehors, sur un drap tendu entre les portes de la van comme nous l’avions déjà tenté la semaine dernière devant le Centre d’Amitié Autochtone de Montréal.  Malgré le froid, l’expérience avait eu du succès.

Hier, les résidents du PAQ  nous ont proposé de nous installer  au chaud, dans une des salles communes du foyer. Les participants ont apporté chaises, fauteuils et canapés, éteint les lumières et les films ont pu commencer. 

 

Nous avons présenté une dizaine de courts métrages du Wapikoni Mobile, une autre van qui circule à travers tout le Québec pour réaliser des films avec les habitants des communautés autochtones. Documentaires, essais poétiques, fictions fantastiques … toutes  sortes de films ont été montrées. Les réactions ont été nombreuses, beaucoup de rires et d’applaudissements. Les résidents se sont reconnus dans les préoccupations abordées par les participants du Wapikoni.
Il y eut un intérêt marqué pour les documentaires traitant des traditions autochtones : Pow Wow, trappe de castors, musique et une mention spéciale à Glitch, une histoire fantastique de télévision qui fait disparaître les couleurs, les éclats de rire et commentaires ont fusé!
