Exeko est un organisme d’innovation sociale, basé à Montréal depuis 2006. Nous utilisons la créativité – l'art et la philosophie – pour l'inclusion sociale des personnes en situation ou à risque d’exclusion. Notre approche reconnaît avant tout le potentiel de chacun à réfléchir, analyser, agir, créer et être partie prenante de la société, quels que soient sa situation ou son parcours : nous présumons l’égalité des intelligences. Nous utilisons une approche fondée sur la médiation intellectuelle et culturelle. Cette démarche consiste à créer des espaces égalitaires de réflexion collective et de création à travers l’organisation d’ateliers et de projets avec nos participant.e.s.

Les 10 dernières années nous ont permis de faire reconnaitre le caractère innovant de nos approches et les impacts tangibles qu’ont générés les quelques 400 projets complétés auprès de près de 20 000 participant.e.s au Québec et au Canada. Avec l’appui et la collaboration de plus de 350 partenaires, nous sommes actuellement engagés dans le développement et la consolidation de l’organisme, avec pour objectif de démultiplier les impacts de nos actions.

Notre CA est un organe à la fois décisionnel, de contrôle, de conseil et d’accompagnement.  Il veille à assurer la pérennité de l’organisation et à préserver l’accès de celle-ci aux ressources humaines, matérielles et financières nécessaires à la réalisation de sa mission par la protection de sa crédibilité et de sa réputation.

Notre CA est actuellement composé de 9 administrateur.trice.s ; 2 sièges sont actuellement vacants et ouverts aux candidatures.

La parité homme-femme est indispensable dans la composition du conseil. Au moins 1 des 2 sièges actuellement vacants doit être comblé par une femme.

Qui plus est, notre organisation souhaite profondément renforcer une représentativité et une participation inclusive et diversifiée à son leadership et sa gouvernance. C’est à ce titre que nous prioriserons les candidatures issues de groupes de population en situation ou à risque d’exclusion, et habituellement sous représentées dans les instances de pouvoirs : Autochtones, personnes racisées, immigrant.e.s, LGBTQ+, personnes vivant avec un handicap ou une limitation fonctionnelle, etc.
