Bonjour,

Mon nom est Gilles Lamarche.

Mme Valérie Richard m’a demandé si j’aimerais écrire un blogue pour Exeko car j’assiste à leurs ateliers à la Maison des amis du Plateau depuis leur début.

J’ai assisté et participé à tous les ateliers comme observateur attentif et seulement trois où je n’ai pas participé activement : l’esprit critique, les besoins et le leadership.

La première question que je lui ai demandé était : «C’est quoi un blogue»? Car je suis conscient que la technologie est très éloignée de mon quotidien, par choix, depuis une dizaine d’années. J’ai renoncé à la télévision, la téléphonie, l’ordinateur, etc. ...et aucune de ces choses ne me manque. Lorsque je veux communiquer avec les gens, je leur dis par écrit ou en personne et eux de même (hôpitaux, gouvernement, famille et organisme). Je me contente de très peu et cela me suffit. Par exemple, à l’été 2020 (pandémie Covid 19), j’ai été à l’Hôtel-Dieu pour le dépistage et ils ont refusés de me faire le test car je n’avais aucune adresse électronique. Je leur ai dit que si j’étais contagieux ce serait leur responsabilité car ils pouvaient me contacter à mon adresse, la vraie, et que j’aurais pu revenir chercher les résultats en personne. Leur réponse était : «Non, impossible». Je suis reparti vers l’ascenseur et, juste avant de le prendre, la dame m’a demandé de revenir. J’ai subi le test et je devais revenir trois jours plus tard pour les résultats. J’y suis retourné (négatif) et j’ai même reçu les résultats par la poste. Vous voyez, rien n’est impossible. 

Le groupe est intéressant et instructif. J’essaie de m’intégrer, mais étant solitaire de nature, c’est difficile. Je ne suis pas antisocial, seulement solitaire.

Comme scolarité, je possède un secondaire 1. Malgré cela, j’ai continué à m’instruire à travers la lecture (romans, récits, nouvelles, magazines (sauf à potins), histoire, en anglais et en français) afin d’essayer de comprendre dans quel monde ou univers j’essaie de survivre.

Même aujourd’hui à 59 ans, je n’ai toujours pas compris, sauf que le monde, la planète et l’univers a besoin de nous tous aussi petit que l’on soit ou que l’on croit être. Qui que l’on soit, nous pouvons faire un différence. Mais désirons-nous le faire ?

Regardez les enfants qui posent une seule question. Ils veulent savoir et comprendre «pourquoi ?». Quoi qu’on leur réponde, ils demandent «pourquoi ?» et quand nous n’avons plus aucune réponse satisfaisante nous leur disons «Va voir ton père ou ta mère !» sans qu’ils aient obtenu leur réponse ou nous leur disons «Parce que c’est comme ça».

Comme je suis toujours un enfant dans ma tête – et vous aussi – je continue à poser des questions. Un jour, nous aurons les réponses et peut-être que ce sera la vérité que l’on cherche. Si elle existe !

Au lieu de se battre l’un contre l’autre, ville contre ville, pays contre pays, pourquoi ne pas s’unir pour sauver la planète où l’on vit, car il n’existe qu’une seule race, un seul peuple et il se nomme Terrien. Unissons-nous afin de survivre et finalement être heureux de notre effort collectif.
