Des paillettes plein les yeux

Le 31 mars dernier, Exeko était à la Maison Théâtre avec la Maison de la Syrie pour voir un spectacle haut en couleur, ce qui nous a donné envie de vous en raconter un peu plus…

Dans le cadre du projet du Laboratoire Culture Inclusive, plusieurs membres, petits et grands (mais surtout petits…) de la Maison de la Syrie sont allés voir la pièce Edgar Paillettes à la Maison Théâtre.

Edgard, c’est un petit garçon qui se déguise tous les jours, c’est vraiment un petit garçon pas comme les autres, plein de surprises, tout un personnage. Du moins c’est ce que disent les gens, ses parents, sa professeure de théâtre, son école spécialisée... C’est ce que pense aussi son frère, Henri, parfois un peu amer. “Pourquoi Edgard a le droit de n’être pas comme les autres, et même de faire des bêtises, et pas moi ?” se demande Henri qui se sent invisible. “Est-ce que Edgard est mieux que moi ? Pourquoi, moi qui ne me déguise pas et qui suis parfois plus sage que lui, on ne me félicite pas ?” Mais Henri découvre au fur de l’histoire que tout n’est pas tout noir ou tout blanc. Et si Edgard brille de mille feu du dehors, Henri finira par comprendre que lui, il scintille en dedans.

 

 

Comme les questions dans la tête de Henri, le sujet de la pièce était loin d’être simple : comment parler de l’autisme d’un enfant ? comment parler de l’autisme et de la neurodiversité à des enfants ? C’est tout en nuances que le spectacle abordait ces thèmes, et il a visiblement captivé notre groupe !

 

Mais au juste, c’est quoi le théâtre ? Un théâtre ? Une pièce de théâtre ? Comment le comprendre quand on ne va pas souvent au théâtre ? Quand on est enfant ? Isabelle, médiatrice à Exeko, a proposé aux enfants et aux familles de se poser ces questions avec elle avant de voir le spectacle. 

 

Et quel meilleur endroit que la Maison Théâtre, qui se consacre au théâtre jeune public, pour se aborder ces questions ! Alors, si on a appris les codes et les règles à respecter dans une salle de théâtre (C’est quoi une scène ? Qu’est-ce qui s’y passe ? Que peut-on faire dans la salle ? est-ce qu’il est permis d’y manger ? De se lever ? D’aimer et de ne pas aimer ? De rire ? De jouer à un jeu vidéo ? De nager dans les rangées ? (????)), on s’est aussi rappelé que parfois les règles étaient faites pour être brisées…

 

La matinée s’est terminée par un atelier de philo pour enfant pour continuer à réfléchir aux thèmes abordés par la pièce. Cette fois avec Christine, qui anime régulièrement des activités à la Maison Théâtre, et qui n’a pas peur de poser de grandes questions aux plus petits, on s’est demandé : C’est quoi l’identité ? C’est quoi mon identité ? Comment je sais que je suis moi ? Qu’est-ce qui me défini ? Mes vêtements, comme Edgar et Henri ? Mes ami.e.s ? Ma famille ? Mon école ? Mon visage ? Pour Amir, Sarah, Nadine et les autres, parfois c’est oui, parfois c’est non. Parfois c’est autre chose. Par exemple, aider les autres nous aiderait à nous définir.

 

Et comme souvent, les échanges prennent des tournures inattendues, mais toujours plus riches que ce que l’on pensait. Ce qui est sûr, par contre, c’est que petits ou grands, nous sommes tou.te.s ressorti.e.s de la Maison Théâtre avec plein de nouveaux apprentissages, de nouvelles couleurs dans nos palettes pour comprendre le monde qui nous entoure.
